Just looking through my ui groups in the config tab (because I'm bored!), and found a number of ui groups with unassigned tabs.
Checking the contents I see that the only node in the group is a spacer node
I realise that I can just delete these off, but don't know why they have been left??
Also.. whilst in the config tab, I've got lots of spacer nodes listed -
but clicking them to open their properties, and they do not seem assigned to a tab/group ??
Is this normal?
Node-RED version: v1.0.5
Dashboard: v2.21.0
Node.js version: v10.20.0
Linux 4.14.35-1902.300.11.el7uek.x86_64 x64 LE
maybe - we don't delete them for you, so if they get left they will remain.
If spacer nodes are system created, shouldn't the system also remove them when they clearly serve no purpose?
Depends.. If you use the layout tool they are. If you rearrange manually they arent
Despite being a relatively new installation, I seem to be acquiring a lot of dashboard unused items..
another example is that I see this info warning;
I click on it, and see that a Deploy is offered. If I deploy, then I still get the '1 widget not in a group' info warning.
The deploy appears to do nothing, and I go around in a circle.
