If anyone knows how to resset the whole password thing from a fundamental point help.
When I try to open Node-red from Homeassistant it times out and does not open. from within either the Homeassistant or Victron control app it will time out. signal K does load from within Victron but not Node-Red.
Everything is loaded on a RassberryPi 4b and I have to pull out one SD card and then update victron stuff, then put in the homeassistant SD card to see that app or even the RassberryPi card to load onto that part. Crazy I know but that is how it worked out.
I can do allmost everything I want from within Homeassitant app with the victron app info connecting using a USB connector for the shunt a couple of other things like MTTQ and network wifi and bluetooth, With that I can write scripts or make actions or webhooks but everthing breaks down or does not do what it is sopposed to do and then I am looking up passwords or Ids things or access token or what every thing that make it imposable to move on. so I wanted to try Node-RED again.
I have a tendency to add to much detail but read on if you need more.
even from within HA it does nothing even after loading from the app loading screen, I can go to the app page and it says it is open but then just stays the same when I click the button. or hit restart,Also From within the victron app same thing. I had some help me before and they said they resset the password but that did not help so I moved to the next task and now I am back.
I also can not just use the link that goes to the password page from the internet adress, because it will not take a change of password even on the web page but maybe that is not the place where you make a change like that it seems like something is not right. I may have to somehow get ride of that loading page but I have cleared my history and it still comes up and no passwords work. I could be that the user is wrong also? Or they (user and password) seem to come up in the password auto fill but none work. I tried resetting it from within the website that seems to be fine with autofill working Or that password works. But just not when I try to activate it from within the Victron program via the interface either the portal or the on screen that is conected to the RaspberryPi. I am now trying to get it to work from any of the areas within any program. I think I have gotten to the website that has me logged in to Node Red but it does not bring up the GUI just the page that has links to different Node-Red files, so I think it is still stuck or I have not dove something. this is all new so I am sorry if it is something obvious. there are so many passwords and IDs and keys and access tokens that it is trully a big part of the learning curve. It sucks having so many different pass thingys in the begging. Being Dyslexic really is a disadvantage with passwords and then having issues with my hands not doing what I ask them to. But that is another thing. If anyone knows how to resset the whole password thing from a fundamental point help, I have no idea what I am doing.
I have gone a long way since I first set up my system.
