Hi all, something that I feel would provide more benefits than I can think of has been raised on the node-red designs discussion - "Persist Safe Mode".

I don't know if there already an option to start node-red in safe mode by a flag in the settings.json.
Thus would be nice for people who does not have access to the command line, because they have node-red integrated into an other system like Homeassistant.

HA uses a docker container. You can set an environment variable to set safe mode if you want.
