Ui_dropdown labels not displaying

I upgraded from version 2.22.1 to 2.28.1 of the dashboard, and the labels on my dropdowns stopped displaying. Is this a known issue, or is there a change in usage I am not aware of?

And you cleared browser cache after the update ...

Yes, cleared cache and also tried on both chrome and edge browsers (edge on this computer had not been used with previous version of node-red-dashboard at all.
