Using zigbee protocol to read/write values to rpi via node-red setup?

I got a CC2531 lying around somewhere and thinking to connect multiple analog/digital sensors to rpi and use node-red to communicate to my zigbee-gateway/network using the CC2531, it should be possible but... anyone tried something like this?

Mmmh, sounds complicated to use a pi and CC2531 to send some sensor data over Zigbee
Have a look at this to make (configure) your own Zigbee device and connect sensors direct to a Zigbee module.

thanks, i see that got what i need! I will keep that for plan B if my node-red project gets stuck. :slight_smile:
