Hope this doesn’t come across as a really stupid question, or should I say, hope this doesn’t come across as a question that shows my stupidity…

You have me interested in the name “nodered”. Can you shed some light on where the name came from and whether it means anything in particular?

Sometimes we say it stands for Rapid Event Designer, but in reality doesn't stand for anything. I think it was a Friday afternoon joke from Dave as it sounds like 'code red'. It stuck and proved to be pretty unique when we googled it, so we kept it.
