Hi,
I am using Node Red together with Home Assistant. From time to time I have an issue, that the connectivity between NR and HA is hagging, although both Apps are up.
What would be an option to monitor the connectivity from NR to HA?

So how are you linking the two apps?

First thing to do if there is a problem with a contrib node is to check to see if you are on the latest version.
If you are then follow the link from the nodes page on flows.nodered.org to the nodes github page to see if an issue has already been raised, or to raise an issue with the author.
On that page you should see a lot of info, suggesting the node is out of date and to use one of the other nodes to link the two apps
