Losing connection to homeassistant?

Hi!
I recently updated to the latest version 3.0.2 and from then (but not sure because I moved and didn't use node-red the last 3 months), I have connection(?) issues with HA (homeassistant).

I'm running node-red (and HA) in docker, with separate docker-compose (but this was already the case before without any issues).

I tried to check the node-red logs but nothing special...

This was yesterday, when I last clicked on 'Deploy' in node-red... and everything was working ok until later where it stopped working. No issue with HA, which is available and working fine for the last 10 days now...

To make it work again, I just have to click on 'Deploy' in node-red.

Any idea what the issue could be?
Thanks

These 2 statements are somewhat conflicting.

It suggests Node-RED is actually still running (because you can click the deploy button) BUT something was not working. Can you clarify "later where it stopped working."?

TBH: It sounds like an issue with the home assistant nodes (these are not written by the Node-RED team) - so it may be worth popping over to the HA forum to see if this is a known issue.

Just to give you some pointers on where to look

  • What do the HA nodes in your NR streams say?

  • And on the other hand, what does the HA log say?

  • Any notifications from HA?

  • Any slowness noticed on your machine at certain times?

  • Has there been a recent Linux update?
