Clean Up Working Environment

Just looking for suggestions on a nice way to clean up my Node Red working environment. I have created a great number of Flows and Subflows doing R&D which I don't want to lose, but would like to get my Node Red tabs reduced in number. Is there a nice way to save my current flows and be able to retrieve pieces from them later if I remember I had something useful? I know I can copy and paste them to another location for saving, but is that the best / only method?

PS....where are SubFlows stored??

Thanks

There is Projects exactly for this kind of maintenance. https://nodered.org/docs/user-guide/projects/

Why not store things in the library? That's one of the things I do.

Thank you. I will try both of these techniques.
