Detecting Doorbird relay activation

Hi all,

I want to open a light for some minutes whenever someone activates one of the 5 Doorbird relays. I can do that whenever the Doorbell event is generated, but I am unable to find a node to perform same functionality on relay activation. Thanks.

I don't know about those relays. How does node red know when a relay changes?

That's the point. For example the ring node gives an output everytime one presses the doorbell. However I do not see any equivalent Doorbird node capable to perform similarly when the user activates any of the relays (two placed at Doorbird door device, three placed at Doorbird monitor device). Moreover, in Doorbird API documentation I cannot see such events. The only available events seem to be ring and motion.

Take a look at Home Assistant, it seems to have a Doorbird integration.

You can configure a HTTPS call in the doorbird app.

I did it that way to open the lock from my door. It wasnt possible to route indoor cables from the indoor unit to the door. And i didnt want to use the relay of the outdoor unit because that is not safe.

So when i trigger the relay button from the app, an HTTPS call is send. I'm sure you can approuch it the same way with a ring.
