Ewelink? Dead in the water?

Hey All,
Sonoff/ewelink changed their API a few months back and since then the ewelink node no longer works. As far as I know the project has been abandon by the developer.

Is this dead in the water? Are my sonoff devices now bricks? Yes, I know I can flash them with tasmota but I would prefer not to.

What to do?

Virtually bricks, you can connect them to Alexa, then use Alexa remote2 nodes to turn them on and off. Some newer ewelink devices like the mini can be flashed over the air, or use DIY mode.
