I’m using the tcp-in node in “listen on” mode and I need to limit the number of simultaneous connections it can handle.
How can I do this?

As far as I understand the tcp-in node, there is no way to limit the number of incoming TCP connections.
Depending on the operating system, there are ways to control connections using a firewall or proxies.
You asked a specific question, which most probably is a solution in your view to a problem you have. But if you let us know what problem you are trying to solve, there might be other ways. If you are still stuck, then please explain your problem and we will stick our heads together to find a solution.
