Node Red running under supervisor (Home assistant OS) in VM - http auth

hi all,

i can login to my node red instance via browser 192.168.1.101:1880 (it pops up for user pass). If i enter my ha user pass it lets me into node red.

If i'm sending a webhook from another system on my lan, how do I auth that http command using http://user:pass@192.168.1.101:1880 doesn't work (fails auth but it at least connects)

do i need to do a post with app/json and some auth header with the long lived token?

Hi,
This question is probably more for the HA forum. In the HA OS environment, access to NR web interface depends, I think, on how you have configured the NodeRed add-on...
As this setup is really HA dependant, the best place to ask is the other forum.
