I have a tendency to drag a node out of the palette and let go of it just inside the editor, then I wait for the tooltip overlaying it to go away, but it doesn't, at least not until I move the mouse outside of the tooltip.
Is it possible for the tooltip to disappear as soon as the mouse exits the sidebar?
