Is there any reason why nodes installed via "manage palette" like Eztimer or Bigtimer are not available ?

Can you explain in more detail what you mean?
I just tried installing Eztimer on my Pi4 using 1.0.1 using the palette and it installed fine
(I already had Bigtimer installed)
