Using TUYA local nodes with Smart Plug YX-WS01 devices?

Using TUYA local nodes with Smart Plug YX-WS01 devices? I have done this several times, and after getting the device ids and device keys, it usually is straight forward to setup in NR. But I have noticed that some times you have to set the API version, scheme version, etc. as well. This is not that I have found obvious or easy to find?

I had no trouble adding these YX-WS01 devices into my phone via the TUYA generic application. But via TUYA local nodes, I just can't seem to get these to connect.

For example these need the following configuration...
AWOW, API 3.3, default rename schema, default filter command byte
AWP04L, API 3.1, default rename schema, default filter command byte
