Hello I’m a node-red newbie. I’m trying to install the modbus “node-red-contrib-modbus” Palette. The instructions say to run the blablabla command in the “root directory of your Node-Red install”.
Question is how do i locate the root directory?

It depends on your platform - if you are running on a Pi from the CLI enter cd .node-red and then enter the npm command.
Oh yeah…you are installing a node not a palette. However in the Node-Red editor, there is an option under the hamburger menu called Palette and you can use it to install nodes.
